Hi, I’m Brittany — and my love for wine didn’t exactly start smoothly. When I turned 21, I realized beer just wasn’t my thing… but wine? That was a different story. 🍷

I’m officially WSET Level 1 certified and currently working toward WSET Level 2, because once I fell down the wine rabbit hole, there was no turning back. Learning about wine has become one of my favorite ways to unwind, explore, and constantly learn something new.

My day job can be pretty stressful, and wine education has become both my creative outlet and my long-term passion. I’m very grape-ful to have found something that brings me joy — and I hope you’ll enjoy learning, sipping, and discovering alongside me.

Owning a wine bar is the dream — but every dream starts with baby steps.

For now, that means hosting wine tastings, sharing wine knowledge, experimenting with making wine, and helping fellow Cork Dorks feel more confident and excited about what’s in their glass. This space is all about learning without the pressure — wine should be fun, approachable, and never intimidating.

Think tasting the world together, shopping for great bottles, learning what to buy (and why), and building something bigger and better as we grow.

My hope is that this becomes a home base for all Cork Dorks — a place to find wine recommendations, tasting experiences, accessories, tips on what to buy (and where), and so much more.

More importantly, I want this to be a positive, welcoming, and safe community for wine lovers of all levels. Whether you’re just starting out or already obsessed, there’s room for you here.
